A common tactic is the moisture loophole. Installers promote long warranties but quietly exclude failures tied to moisture thresholds like “3 lbs MVER,” “6 lbs MVER,” or specific Tramex readings.
Most homeowners never see test results before installation. When the coating blisters or peels—often because vapor pressure pushes up through Pennsylvania’s damp concrete—the installer tests afterward, points to a high number, and voids the warranty.
